Night of Dreams, Invites all to join us for the
Tree of Hope & Holiday Spirit Community Initiative …..
building stronger community through artistic expression!
Raleigh, N.C., November 19, 2007 - Night of Dreams, LLC (www.nightofdreams.org), announces The Tree of Hope & Holiday Spirit Community Initiative is just one of many artistic outlets coming from Night of Dreams this year! We invite the community to join us for a special tree lighting and also anyone that would like to donate art decorations to our initiative is invited to join us on Friday for this the Holiday Spirit Initiative.
A few local families have already created artistic stories through Christmas ornaments and other crafts. These items are on display at the Southeast Museum located at the North Carolina Cultural Center. Two local businesses donated a magnificent 12Ft Christmas tree for the museum to play host to the collective of donated ornaments. Mid-Atlantic Insurance and Ann Locklear Realty donated the tree in hopes of rallying the community around this special artistic outreach initiative. “It is time for the community to come together as one and there is no better reason than art, music and artistic expression,” says Ann Locklear of Ann Locklear Realty. “The hidden talent of our community has long been more a secret than recognized. Our community is full of rich, but hidden, talent. We see the holidays as a great way to kick off a series of events profiling the region’s strong original artist. Some of these talented folks include children, teens and many adults working every day but looking for a place to share their passions,” states Glenda Collins, Quality Assurance Analyst for Campbell Soup Company in Maxton, NC and regional director volunteer for Night of Dreams.
Night of Dreams invites any family or individuals in surrounding counties to donate original ornaments to the Tree for Hope & Holiday Spirit Community Initiative. So many individuals and families are already involved. The event Friday will allow others to celebrate, show case their art and come together in a fun way as everyone sets out to inspire stronger community.
The Christmas Tree lighting will be at 1:00pm Friday November 23, 2007 at the Southeast Museum. The Museum is located 447 Recreation Center Rd, Maxton, North Carolina.

August 1, 2007: Night of Dreams Artists Bill West and the band PULL to Represent Triangle in National Contest
Band members thank family, friends and online supporters as they prepare for primetime gig
A Night of Dreams band “PULL” is set to compete on the national stage for the right to be called the Next Great American Band in a contest from the producers of American Idol. On July 30th, 2007, the Triangle area band won FOX 50's regional contest sending them to Las Vegas for the opportunity to become one of 10 semi-finalists competing for the national title. PULL is comprised of local musicians Bill West (vocals, guitar), Stefan Rogers (guitar), Chris Johnson (piano, keyboards, and vocals), Troy Jordan (bass), and Fred Redding (Drums). Staying committed to their original sound which has won over the regional music scene, the five draw on diverse influences ranging from the Police to the Samples and Brian Setzer. Band members pride themselves on chemistry and insist that songwriting comes first in an effort to combine distinctive styles and respective capabilities. They credit this philosophy for their early success. “We simply don’t have room for egos, drama, or image-fronted pretenses. We are a hardworking band lucky enough to be doing what we love and hoping to share our music with more and more fans,” said band member Bill West. PULL secured their trip to Las Vegas by winning the online vote on FOX50.com. Their submission of original song Way Too Long was selected by voters as the favorite. The band is humbled by their initial success attributing it to the support of friends, family, and fans. Fred Redding, drummer for PULL added, “We are all so grateful and humbled by the show of support from Raleigh and our friends and family across the country. It was their support that moved us on to the next level and we will work as hard as possible to show our appreciation.”
You can see PULL at the Koka Booth Amphitheater in Cary on September 21 where they will be performing with the Night of Dreams organization in a benefit concert to fight domestic violence. For more information on that show and the benefit visit www.nightofdreams.org. On September 29 the band will appear at Ziggy's in Winston-Salem . Currently, PULL can be found online at http://www.myspace.com/ilovepull and DVD copies will be available soon as they work on their debut CD.
